I saw them live at Jazz alley(Seattle) last week - it was inspiring! I last saw them in Singapore about 15 years ago and they were as mesmerizing as ever. The musicality and connection of Patti's voice and expression combined with Tuck's playing made me run home immediately after and dust off the guitar. They are incredible live performers.

I saw this lovely dual in fact tonight in Seattle at Jazz Ally. Patty came out complaining about her Red shoes, "she took them off." The audience loved it. She then later 'adlibbed" a song called "High Heel Blues." Tuck is just the best Guitar player alive on this planet. He did things that required texture and "feel." The harmonics made my the simple "slap" of his hand were the most beautiful sounds I ever heard, Wow! They are celebrating playing music together for 30 years this year. |
