Thougth I might add my two bits...with all these somewhat disturbing comments... comparisons.....best this ...best that....lost fire....Brecker.. etc. I suppose all somehow valid. I just cant comprehend someone diminishing a man that has contributed so much ...recording for what... 70 years? I hear an enormous musical vocabulary, vast riches, a wondrous warmth and beauty, pure pleasure "in the now". Aging, good days, not so good days (gigs) whatever thats life... thats Jazz. Sorry, that was in response to the comment left by "p0ezi" about the "Nice little riff" at 0:30. I didn't claim everything Sonny plays is easy, just that one little thing. As far as the me not being a sax player assumption though, you have no evidence that I am not.
