No problem. most people use the term ignorant incorrectly and that has always bothered me (most people use it as a term for anyone that is rude). Im just glad you learned something. Not to mention you are suprisingly accepting of criticism, thats rare on youtube.

I guess i was ignorant now that i see ignorant can be used as a broad term for not knowing or unknowingly. But still i find it offensive and almost a undertone way to say someone is stupid or dumb, which clearly isn't the case.

Actually you seem ignorant on what the definition of ignorance is. Not knowing something is by definition being ignorant about it. Here is a definition to help clarify for you:The condition of being uneducated, unaware, or uninformed. You would fall into the "uninformed" category of that definition. So yes, you were in fact ignorant.

well actually if you look at the facts, i wasn't technically "ignorant" about them talking, i just never knew. Difference between saying something falsely, rather then not knowing at all.

I didnt mean you were a generally ignorant person. Only that you were ignorant of this one fact (which you admitted regarding the crows). This is a natural skill for birds, one this trainer has just focused on.

I do admit that i sounded pretty dumb saying that, but i guess i wasn't too clear. parrots don't have that level of speech in the wild. I didn't know about the crows till now, but i myself haven't heard one. So that's not too fair to say that i am ignorant about that. Also note that crows also have an adept ability to use their surroundings to break open nuts to eat. That's why you seem them perching on telephone wires with nuts in the road. So no, i don't find that i am that ignorant.

Actually thats not true. While in the wild you wouldnt see this level of recall birds do naturally imitate the sounds they hear around them. Crows have been known, especially in well populated areas, to repeat human speech and sounds (often scaring the more ignorant people such as yourself).
