What did he quit what he was the best in the world at to try another profession, did he cheat in comedy when he was already one of the best ever??? Respect his audience!! Did he piss on them or something, feminist jokes and southern jokes were all to get to see him get piledriven and break his neck, which I bet you watched over and over, and I can see why so many people hated him back then too, people took him way too seriously.

You must not have been alive while he reigned. I'm sure Kaufman would be your favorite entertainer- the man who never respected nor appreciated his audience!! I am sure you think John Wayne Gacey is your favorite clown and GW Bush is your favorite president while your humanitarian award goes to Dick(less) Chaney!No entertainer is a real entertainer without respecting the audience. Wow was this terrible...oops!!! I forgot- this is a Kaufman "bit" - to say it is terrible is to be redundant. Kaufman sucked and I propose it was all the toxic energy from his "put on the audience" approach that diseased his body and killed him.
