okay holy moly this has been fucking established for at least a year...*sigh, deep breath*CC recorded Courtship Dating in some studio in the states, Timbaland was in the same studio a week later and the engineer demo'd the courtship dating session for him. He liked it, used it in Ayo Technology, and paid Ethan for the beat.

Timbaland didn't rip this. I've heard that sequence in a lot of amateur-sounding chip songs. Furthermore it's a stock arpeggio in FL Studio (this song sound like a sampled loop though). What you really have here is a case of two opportunistic god-awful musicians trying to capitalize on something they don't fully understand.
